i do what i like and i like what i do

So this weekend just gone I had the whole weekend off. Yes, off! From *both* jobs! I can't remember the last time that happened, it was so ridiculously impressive that I just had to do something interesting!

Friday night I went to the Scala @ Kings Cross for an a club night where one of my fave bands were playing a set. Was a fantastic night, met up with a few friends who I see when I go to see said band playing (InMe ftw) and had fun, although drinks were extortionately priced and I didn't get as drunk as I'd have liked! Spent a large portion of the evening blowing up InMe balloons and then got to go up to the balcony and throw them all down when the guys came on stage, was a good laugh and is the last time I'll get to see the band live before I head off so I really made the most of it although the set seemed relatively short compared to when I saw them on tour. Took some assorted videos which are now up on my youtube :)





Stayed until 5am or so when we then went to get food, and I then headed off to my aunts house @ the rear end of the central line to go crash for the day. T'was my uncles 18th birthday party on the Saturday night and I was the surprise guest, although it was only a surprise for my dad, but quite a surprise none the less! He seemed quite happy to see me, I had a really nice time seeing family who I didn't think I was going to get to see until January - I don't see them enough as it is so gonna miss them quite a bit whilst I'm gone.




Payday on Thursday, and then Sunday is the ONE MONTH countdown til my flight. I'm freaking out, how did it ever get to be so soon?! Bring on Christmas!
